THE BRIEF /

At Atlassian, we set out to create a compelling, tangible way to tell our company’s story—one that authentically reflected who we are. Inspired by HubSpot’s Culture Code, we aimed to craft an immersive brand narrative that would engage candidates, reinforce our employer value proposition, and serve as a lasting artifact of our culture. 

A Culture Worth Documenting—So We Did.

To bring this vision to life, I partnered with our Design Team to create Work is Better When It’s Teamwork—a digital and print book that captured Atlassian’s identity, values, and vision in a way that felt both strategic and deeply human. I led the narrative development, structuring the book into five chapters that explored our purpose, belief in open work, commitment to belonging, community impact, and future vision. Through compelling storytelling, real employee voices, and rich visuals, we brought our employer brand to life in a way that was immersive, memorable, and deeply reflective of our culture. The book became a key touchpoint in the hiring journey, distributed to applicants, displayed in office lobbies, and included in our Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For submission—helping secure our second consecutive placement on the list in 2020.
